This is what we chose for our wedding almost 50 years ago. People said to us, "No! Don't choose that!" Back then, everybody chose white with gold. My husband and I have always been a combination of traditional and untraditional. People thought we'd get tired of this pattern, but I haven't gotten tired of it. I love it. It is not so much that the dishes elicit memories than a feeling of well being, like everything is right when I use them.
